<description><![CDATA[Lustig, Richard R. Born January 14, 1931, passed away peacefully February 13, 2012, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Lustig, and his children, Susan (Steven) Podjaski, Mary Ellen (Patrick) Canham, Joseph Lustig, Andrew (Linda) Lustig, and Nancy (Christopher) Serafin. Preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth (Erdmann) Lustig, and his siblings, Joyce, Charles and Laurence. Richard is further survived by his brothers, Thomas, Michael and William, and by his grandchildren, Sarah (Gilles) Fouquart, Sandra (Nicholas) Scocozzo, Shelly (Trevor II) Waltho, and Elizabeth Lustig.  Richard served in the Army, stationed in Germany, during the Korean War. He worked for the U.S. Post Office, retiring after 30 years of service. He and Elaine enjoyed a long, well-deserved 26 years in retirement, living at Nalcrest, Florida in the winters and at Forest Lake, Wisconsin in the summers. He is survived by his daughter Colleen (Mark) Sokolowski, granddaughters Jody (Vince) Demarinis, Kelly (Peter) Leslie, and great-granddaughters Nadia, Olivia, and Lilly. A special thank you goes out to all of the special people who helped take care of my dad. Especially his caregiver Chris. He loved to play golf and cards with his buddies. He loved life and we were all blessed to have him in our lives.  Albern proudly served his country in the Army Air Force.

Passed away Feb 2, 2012, at the age of 70. Loving husband and lifelong partner of JoAnn (nee Plont). Dear father of David (Angie) and Tony. Proud Grandpa of Clint, Nolan, Kourtney, Kelsey, Sierra Karklus, and Corinn Mars. Brother of Judy (David) Gaza, brother-in-law of Ken and Marlene Plont, and Kareen Karklus. He is preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Virginia, and brothers David and Kenneth Karklus. Further survived by other relatives and friends.  Daryl retired from Pabst Brewery after 32 years, and went on to work for Aurora Health and Wheaton Franciscan Health Care. Daryl also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
