Obituary

Passed away peacefully on August 8th at 89 years old. Beloved husband of 52 years to Sharon (nee Kemen). Cherished father of Matthew (Martha), Audrey (Thomas) Wussow, Roger (Dianne) Weiss, and Allen. Grandfather to eight loving grandchildren. Further survived by his sisters, Rita McDonald, of Stillwater, MN and Donna Pinotti, of St. Paul, MN. Born on April 8th, 1928 in St. Paul, MN. Preceded in death by his parents, Albert, Sr. and Olive and sister Carole. Al loved classical music all his life. He belonged to National Mutual Benefit, Franklin Seniors, and, in the past, the City of Franklin's Environmental Commission. He loved square dancing, playing cards with family and friends, and hiking. He played softball and volleyball with the 55 plus Senior League. He retired from being a chemist for the Department of Natural Resources in 1998. The family would like to thank Vitas Ruth Hospice and Elizabeth Residence for their kind care of Al.A visitation will be held on Saturday August 12th at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 7963 S. 116th St. Franklin, WI 53132 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Martin of Tours Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations made in Al's name to St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church are appreciated.
