Dear great grandma of Malachi, Levi, Tristan, Graham, Quill, Norah, and Mila. Survived by many dear relatives and friends both near and far. Preceded in death by her husband Howie, her parents Ted and Betty Serwatt, and her sister Joan. Alice was such a fun-loving and happy soul. She was always up for any adventure that came her way. From going out to lunch with her kids to outings with her new-found friends, she'd be raring to go. She loved her family so–sharing her grandchildren's pictures and stories about her kids with everyone. She was so proud of them all. She was really happy when visitors popped in to see her–greeting them with the biggest hug and smile you could ask for. Alice loved to chat with everyone, welcoming them with open arms into her life. And if she saw someone alone, she would say "Hello" and call them her friend. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a big goal for many was making her smile and laugh. She would call her family with news and left the best voicemails that many of us will cherish forever. Alice is near and dear to our hearts and is truly missed. Alice loved playing the piano and still played if asked. She enjoyed playing games with friends, her most recent favorite was, "Help your Neighbor." She put together many puzzles over the years and was also a whiz at crossword puzzles. Her family would like to thank Elizabeth Residence where she lived the last few years. They were all so caring and treated her with dignity, love and respect. She truly felt at home there. The staff had many wonderful stories about Alice they shared with the family, which made us smile, laugh and comforted us dearly. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (3722 S. 58th St., Milwaukee) at 9:30 am until the service begins at 11 am.
