Amos Wade O’Neal Jr., 76, of Franksville, WI, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026. Born on March 6, 1950 in Buxton, North Carolina, he fully enjoyed a life well-lived and a love well-shared.

Known by “Wade” to many, Amos graduated from Buxton High School, then proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. From there, he went on to a career as a Machinist at Allis Chalmers, CNC programmer at Siemens Corporation, and MRI assembly at GE Medical. Outside of his military and civilian careers, he was know for his compassionate nature, mischievous sense of humor and enjoying reading, fishing and creating cherished memories with family.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Billy O’Neal, David O’Neal and Jeffery O’Neal. He is also survived by his siblings, Joseph O’Neal, Mary (Patty) Dias and Elizabeth Jacobs, as well as his grandchildren, Nathaniel O’Neal, Savannah O’Neal and Jackson O’Neal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia M. O’Neal (Treloar).

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8th from 4:00-6:00 pm, with a memorial service at 6:00pm at Hartson Funeral Home at 11111 W. Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI 53130. Amos will be profoundly missed and treasured in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
