Wife of Richard Mergenthaler; mother of Debra (Ronald) Schmidt, Dawn (Robert) Opichka, Dena Platow, and Daniel (Lisa) Platow; grandmother of Kimberly (Joshua) Stottlemyer, Gerald (Danielle) Opichka, Ashley Platow, Megan Platow, and Samuel Platow; great-grandmother of Skylar Opichka; step-mother of Debra (Rick) Barrett and Lori (Carl) Hively; further survived by many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, one niece, and many nephews.
