STAVISH, Anthony W., Sr., age 83, died peacefully on Monday morning, December 24, 2012, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ranae Zautcke Stavish; by his sons, Andrew, John, and Anthony, Jr.; by stepdaughters Cindy Zautcke (Michael) Ostermeyer and Katy Zautcke (John) Thomas; by his five grandchildren, William, John, and Elizabeth Ostermeyer and Eleonor and Haley Thomas; and by extended family, colleagues, and friends too numerous to list. Preceding him in death was his wife, Shirley (Scotland) Stavish. Tony was a combat veteran of the Korean War, having served as paratrooper in the 187th Airborne Regiment. Friends and colleagues wishing to celebrate Tony's life are invited to a visitation at the Forest Home Cemetery Chapel (Forest Home Avenue between W. Lincoln Avenue and 27th Street) on Friday, January 4th from 10:00 a.m.-noon. Service and burial to follow.
