Arlene A. Martin (Nee Soetebeer)Age 88, passed peacefully August 15, 2016.  Loving wife of Maynard Martin, Sr., for 64 years.  Further survived by 3 sons: Timothy (Kathleen) of Plymouth, MN, Scott (Kathleen) of Lancaster, Maynard Jr. (Bud) of New Berlin. Further survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Regina Soetebeer; Sister Regina Schill; and daughter-in-law Holly (Bud) Martin.  Arlene was born and raised in rural Phillips, WI.  She graduated from Phillips High School and UW Superior, majoring in secondary education.  She taught school in Black River Falls, Plymouth and West Allis school systems. Raised three sons with loving husband Maynard, and was a long-time supervisor at the J.C. Penny store in Greendale.  A wife and mother that will be dearly missed. We have a hunch this last journey in her life may end up with sis Reg, and their friends and relatives all celebrating at Lake Ten.  Per Arlene's wishes no formal services are being held.
