Arlene E. Ryan (nee Roanhouse) of Greenfield passed peacefully into Eternal Life on January 19, 2014 at the age of 83. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, David, and her devoted children Michael (Mathy), Terri (Gary ) Voden, Bill (Rae), Mary (John) Ozburn, Patti (Erik) Thoresen. Cherished grandchildren Stacey (Joe) Barnes, Joe Ryan, Erin Voden, Brian Voden, Michelle (Nick) Frame, James Ryan, Kelly Ryan, Colleen Ozburn, David Ozburn, Mike Ozburn, Kayla Thoresen, Jacob Thoresen, and Kaitlyn Thoresen and great grandchildren Jada Ryan and Grant Ryan. Further survived by sister Lorraine Rudolf, sister-in-law Angie Roanhouse, brothers–in-law Bill Ryan and Richard Brunner, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings Roy (Jean) Roanhouse, Bud Roanhouse, and her twin Jean (George) Gibilian, and sisters-in-law Marge Ryan and Toni Brunner. Her family was blessed by her unending love and devotion, and her strong but gentle soul will continue in the legacy she leaves to all who knew her. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 2 to 4:45 PM at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 S. 27th St., Franklin, WI 53132. Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 5 PM.
