Arlys Evelyn (nee Burklund) Coy, Age 90, passed from this life into the arms of Our Lord and was reunited with her beloved husband Glenn on February 17, 2021

Dear mother of Debra (Robert) Lugar and Doug (Becky) Coy. Loving grandmother of Amanda (Kevin) Carroll and Alyssa (Joshua) Grunden, and great grandmother of two.

Arlys was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn. She is further survived by her sister-in-law Merle, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Arlys was born in Paxton, IL and settled in Greenfield, WI. She was known and loved by neighbors and friends in her community and church. Through her life she was a faithful and active member and attender of Church of the Open Door in Milwaukee, Faith Bible Church in Greenfield, Spring Creek Church in Pewaukee, and lastly, Redeemer Evangelical Free Church in Milwaukee.

Arlys was a very friendly, giving and generous person who loved spending time with family and friends. She was welcoming and warm-hearted to everyone. She especially loved spoiling her grandchildren! She also enjoyed going for bike rides, growing flowers and bird watching. She was an active lady who worked hard and stayed busy, which kept her much more youthful than her years.

A very special thank you to the nurses, aides and staff at Layton Terrace Senior Community for their kind, loving and compassionate care of Arlys. They became all the more important to her during the pandemic shutdown and the family is very grateful to everyone who cared for her.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 1 from 10:00 - 12:00 PM at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Hales Corners, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Masks are required for attendance. Burial will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
