Arthur E. Poitz ("Art" "Artie") 87, passed away unexpectedly, on Friday February 20, 2026, after a long and courageous fight with chronic health issues.
Arthur lived a long and rewarding life which always centered around his never wavering love and support for his family.
He enjoyed spending time at the cottage up north, going to the casino, and just being outdoors.
Arthur is a lifelong sports fan of The Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. He always looked forward to watching all the games on TV, with his son, Tim!
Our Dad has a very unique sense of humor! His daily phone calls and texts to us included many jokes, funny songs and sayings, anything to make us laugh!
Artie is survived by his loving wife, Dolores. His brother, Robert (Drew) and Sister-in-law, Linda (Cliff).
He is the Very Best Dad to his children, Tim, Sue (Tommy), and Audrey (Don).
Bumpa and Best Buddies to his grandchildren, Eric (Ashley), Amanda (Ryan) and "Always, Josh", and great grandchildren, Patience (Braden), Trinity, and Hollister.
Artie will be missed every single day, by all of us who love him, including lifelong friends, Red and Sis and his high school Lunch Gang!
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
