In Memory of a Beloved Mother, Devoted Aunt, Sister, and DaughterBarbara Julia Benzala, went home to her Lord and Savior on October 22nd, 2018 at the age of 92. Born June 8, 1926 to Enrico and Adele (nee Larcher) Fedrizzi. Loving wife of the late John J. Benzala. Beloved mom of Jackie Benzala Christensen. Also survived by much loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her four sisters: Ida, Rica, Theresa, and Pia Frances. Visitation Saturday, October 27th, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wisconsin Memorial Park, CHAPEL OF THE CHIMES,13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005. Service at 2:00 PM.Words cannot express the overwhelming grief and extreme deep loss felt in the unexpected passing of this incredible woman. I was proud and blessed to be able to call her my MOTHER.Barbara was always generous and had an indomitable spirit. She was always filled with laughter and joy every day of her life. Barbara was a devoted Brewers fan and could name every player on the team. In their run for the pennant, I could hear her hooting and rooting for them with gusto. Thank God this year she was able to see them almost make it to the World Series.She had a deep love for her family, friends and the many lucky rescued pets in her life.Barbara said the rosary every day and always kept her concerns and hopes for her family and friends in those prayers. She is in a better place now, and home with the Lord!!In these troubled times when hate, ridicule and intolerance is everywhere, Barbara radiated love with her smile and laughter. The light that shined so brightly from her presence has been extinguished. Our Matriarch is gone! We as her family will have to try to keep her light alive in each of our lives going forward. Be extra kind to each other. I ask everyone to notice the elderly. They are always such a gift to all of us. It means so much to them to get even just a phone call if one does not have time for a personal visit. I was so blessed to have her as my Mom and my best friend, especially when she agreed to move in with me. She was with me for almost 5 years. I never wanted our time to end. If you wish, in honor of her memory, please donate to the pet rescue organization of your choice. Our fur babies meant so much to her.
