Barbara Ann (Schneider) Loughney

HALES CORNERS - Age 83. Born into eternal life November 16, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Annette Loughney, and ex-husband William (Buddy) Schneider, son William (Bill) Schneider, and her brother Dennis Loughney. Companion of many years Tony Braunreiter.

Loving mother of Jean (Thomas) Hornak, Mary Schneider (Kenny Brown), Susan Schneider (James Kindler), Catherine (Michael) Kindler and the late William (Jennifer) Schneider. Very proud grandmother who is cherished by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community Church, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners, WI on Wednesday, November 24th from 1 PM to 2:45 PM. Funeral Mass 3 PM.

Barb had many passions in her life. She loved to cook, paint, and write poetry. She loved dogs, cats, horses, (she enjoyed horseback riding). She loved gardening, flowers and all of God's little creatures. (She wouldn't even kill a spider - if she saw one in the house she would put it in her hand and take it back outside). Barb had a love for music and played the piano by ear. Most of all she will be remembered for her very kind and gentle spirit. There was not a mean bone in her body. Her family was her life, always putting her family before herself. She was always eager to know how everyone was doing. She will be dearly missed and always loved.
