Barbara Mae Palubicki(nee Krause), 89, of Muskego, Wisconsin died at Linden Grove Mukwonago on January 1, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. Barbara was born in Milwaukee, WI on November 22, 1936 to Henry and Sophia Krause, who both preceded her in death.
Barbara married Eugene(Gene) Palubicki on October 12, 1957. They both attended Messmer High School. Eugene died on June 28, 1984. Also preceding Barbara in death, was her sister, Therese.
Barbara is survived by her four children, Mark (Sharon), John (Sue), Mary (Jeff) and Gerard, four grandchildren, Amanda (Tony), Matthew (Sarah), Jeffrey, Emily, five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Addy, Emma, Leah and Leo. Further survived by Brother-In-Law Richard, nephew Tom (Lisa) and niece Mary Rose (Keith)...along with many other friends, neighbors and relatives.
Before moving to Muskego in 1972, Gene and Barb were involved with Cub Scout PACK 177 at Saint Agnes Church in Milwaukee. She then went on to be a CNA at Muskego Nursing Home, and later Tudor Oaks.
Barb was a member of Saint Martin of Tours Church, Franklin, WI. For many years, Mom and Gerard were active in their meal program. She watched EWTN and prayed the Rosary often.
She was a big fan of Irish singer, Daniel O'Donnell.
She also enjoyed playing word games like Hangman, Jumbles and Scrabble.

Finally, in recognition of Gerard, who provided many years of care and comfort for Mom, at great personal expense and sacrifice...may God always keep and bless you.

A funeral mass will be held for Barbara at St. Martin of Tours in Franklin. She will be interred at the St. Martin of Tours Cemetery, alongside her husband Gene.
