Barbara Steinruck fell asleep in death on July 8th, 2024, at the age of 82.
She is survived by her daughter Kym George (Bob), son John Steinruck (Naomi), grandchildren: Ivon Steinruck (Keri), David Steinruck and step-grandson Jeremia George (Jess), and adopted granddaughter Mariah Whitney. Also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hailey Steinruck, Nolan Steinruck and Roman Steinruck. And her Brother Robert Bruss and niece Liberty Bruss.
She was proceeded in death by her son Paul Steinruck and her parents, Carl Bruss and Leona Valenta.
Barbara was born in Pewaukee, Wisconsin on December 21, 1941.
She was raised in Pewaukee and went all the way through high school there. She was a fantastic bowler and archer, winning many awards.
She worked for Marcus theaters in her younger years and then for 38 years she worked for the United States Post Office. She retired and spent the rest of her life with her daughter and son-in-law.
She became one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1981, being baptized along with her daughter. She remained a Loyal Servant of Jehovah God and his son Jesus until the day of her death.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and had the privilege to know such a beautiful sweet, kind and loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
We will see you again in the Paradise Mom…. Love you so very much.
A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Saturday July 20th, 1:00-2:00 for visitation followed by a talk at 2:00.
