Barbara Lou Tesch (Dery), loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023, at the age of 82 in Muskego, Wisconsin. She was born on December 23, 1940, in New London, Wisconsin, to Floyd Dery and Elsie Dery (Brohm). Barbara was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Charles Dery. Barbara is survived by her brother, Thomas Dery.

Barbara had a fulfilling career, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Camillus and later transitioning to a payroll clerk, where she retired. She was known for her caring nature, intelligence, and compassion.

In her free time, Barbara enjoyed various hobbies, including painting ceramics, crocheting baby blankets for her grandchildren, and reading Danielle Steele novels. She was also an avid fan of the television show Heartland and had a deep love for coffee.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her children: Christopher Tesch (Laura), Corinne Davis (Dan), Colin Tesch, Cheryl Tesch, and Chean Tesch (Pam). She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: David Malchow-Davis (Daniel), Matthew Davis, Shannon Adams (Kyle), Carissa Cash (Marshall), Kyle Jessmon, Kayla Tesch-Hertlein (Nick), Ashli Phillips, Alexander Tesch, Maxwell Tesch, Nathaniel Tesch, Amy Tesch, Haley Tesch, and Connor Tesch. Additionally, Barbara leaves behind her great grandchildren: Nick, Cole, Madeline, Amelia, Grace, and Eveline.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday December 13, 2023 from 4-6pm, followed by a service at 6pm at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners, WI. The compassionate staff at Hartson Funeral Home is honored to assist the family during this difficult time.

Barbara Tesch will be remembered for her love, kindness, and dedication to her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
