Bert William HallmanPassed away peacefully on April 14, 2017 at the age of 83. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeannette Ann, his children: Timothy, Daniel (Susan), Mark (Amy), Dale (Michelle), and grandchildren: Samantha (Matt), Bill, Joe, Matthew, Hannah and Henry. Bert was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 14, 1933, the son of William and Olga (Boline) Hallman and brother of Paul and (Claire) Hallman. Bert graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Philosophy and later went to Milwaukee Bible College where he met his loving wife Jeannette (Zoerb) Hallman. He was drafted into the Army and married Jeannette while stationed in Orleans, France in 1958. After being honorably discharged, Bert returned to his job at M&I Bank in Milwaukee and later took a job at Hales Corners State Bank. Bert decided to change his career path and opened an Ace Hardware Store in Greenfield, WI. He ended his career working in a variety of sales positions. Bert served on a variety of service boards which included Youth for Christ, Southwest YMCA, and the Whitnall Park Rotary Club, of which he was one of the founders. He also worked with various youth groups as a Sunday School teacher, Indian Guides, Trailblazer Club and coaching little league. Bert taught Bible classes at Open Bible Fellowship for over 30 years. He enjoyed attending his son's and grandchildren's events as well as doing crossword puzzles and playing golf. Special thanks to the Clement J.
