Bette A. Eckstrom (nee Shurr) Age 64, went to Paradise Feb. 25, 2015 to meet her Lord and Savior, and to be welcomed by her loving family and pets that preceded her.  Loving wife of David for 42 years; Devoted mother of Ryan and Kari; Beloved daughter of Russell G. and the late Agnes (nee Bluemel) Shurr; Cherished sister of Karen (Kent Aman) Shurr, twin Barbara (Michael) Peterka, Kathleen (Gary) Chilver, Jacalyn (James) Marschall, and the late Russell H. (Renee) Shurr.  Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and great friends.  Bette had a special bond with her loving pets and her dogs were her passion.  She was an artist in grooming of Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers along with breeding and showing them for over 40 years.  Her other love was gardening with her husband in which they had over 400 different varieties of hostas.  Bette battled her cancer for 7 years and went out with peace and dignity.  Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Service at 7 p.m.  Private entombment.
