Betty Marie Braun, 83, was born into eternal life on April 16, 2018. Betty was born to the late Elmer and Mary (Neveranta) Falk, on July 28, 1934, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Betty was blessed with a loving family and full life. She married her best friend, Romuald Martin Braun, on February 22, 1964, in Florence, WI. Betty helped raise her two children with patience, love and humility. She taught them to love one another and to have a love for nature and the outdoors. She loved to ski when she was younger, and all her life she loved to work in the yard with her plants and flowers, except when it came to cutting the grass and shoveling the snow. Betty was an amazing woman. She was kind and soft-spoken, and always thought of others. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Creator. Betty is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband, Romuald (Rom); her children Lance (Debbie) Braun and Nicole (Paul) Kollmorgen; her grandchildren Calvin, Ella, Parker and Olivia; and her brothers, Robert (Arleen) Falk and Wayne (Dee) Falk. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Arnie Falk. A memorial service for Betty will held on Sunday, April 22, at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners, WI. The visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm, with the service immediately following. Pastor Johnson of Hales Corners Lutheran Church will officiate the service. She will be buried in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI, on Tuesday, April 24, at 9 am.
