It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bonnie Goff. Bonnie was born on April 6, 1941, and passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Brian Goff; son-in-law, Kenneth Gore; granddaughters, Nicole (Andrew) Jens and Erica (Alex) Nitsche; and beloved great-grandson, Cooper Nitsche; along with many other cherished family and friends. Bonnie has been reunited with her husband, Kenneth Goff; son, Andrew Goff; daughter, Colleen Gore (Goff); mother, Julia McCann (Johnson); father, Milton McCann; brother, Gary Johnson; and many other loved ones who welcomed her home.
Bonnie dedicated her life to caring for others. Through her years working as a nurse at the local medical clinic, her faithful service to her church and community, and the countless quiet ways she showed up for family and friends, Bonnie lived a life rooted in compassion. If someone needed help, comfort, or simply someone to listen, Bonnie was always there.
She found joy in cooking and baking for those she loved and took great pride in preparing traditional Norwegian meals, honoring her heritage as a proud 100% Norwegian. Bonnie was also an avid quilter and a devoted member of her church’s quilting group, where she shared not only her talent but also laughter, friendship, and fellowship.
Bonnie had a true gift for making a house feel like home. Her gardens were always beautifully tended, her flower beds perfectly weeded, and her yard filled with charming garden figurines. She loved a good conversation, had the warmest listening ears, and never hesitated to offer her honest (and often wise) opinion. She was also a die-hard Milwaukee Brewers fan — so devoted that if she couldn’t watch a game live, she made sure to record it so she wouldn’t miss a single pitch.
Bonnie was truly one of a kind. Her kindness, strength, humor, and unwavering love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply and dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held on January 29 at 6:00 p.m. at Norway Lutheran Church in Wind Lake.
