Brian Leonard, 70, of Hales Corners, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief bout with cancer.

He will be remembered by his wife of 43 years, Jane, and their three children: Jessica (Kelly) Williams, Zachary (Crystalyn) and Jacob (Sara). Beloved grandpa/apá to Grayson, Tegan, Halston and Jordy. Brother of Susan (Paul) Nelson and David. Further survived by extended family, including nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Lesley and Virgina (nee Axtell) Leonard, sister Linda Wilson, and niece, Laura Wilson.

Brian was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and traveled anywhere with a campground or a beach. A road trip warrior, he lived by the credo "Five minutes is five miles." His favorite destinations were Gulf Shores, AL and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. An eternal pragmatist, the island mindset reflected heavily in his life – he advocated for having a good time without too much pomp and circumstance. In that vein, Brian would want you to celebrate and be comfortable – please come as you are.
