West, Carl J. "Bud" 71, born to eternal life September 21, 2013. Loving father of Sarah (Javier) Lopez, Amy Morison, John (Kerri) West, and Paul (Donna) West, beloved son of William. Proud grandfather of nine: Sebastian, Sophia, Monica, Ryan, Isabel, Rosa, Samuel, Jonah and Joshua. Further survived by the mother of his children, Elisabeth Kappel, two brothers; William and Thomas, two sisters; Susan and Kathryn, extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his mother, Arlene (nee Emmerich) and a granddaughter, Sarafina. Many thanks to his support group at Gus's Café. A very special thanks to all the staff at Zilber Hospice. Bud loved life, good times, dancing and NASCAR, but not necessarily in that order. Say hi to Ma, give Kelly a hug, and see if you can hitch a ride with Earnhardt or Kulwicki.
