Age 89, passed at her home in Hales Corners on June 17, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Carol was born October 24, 1933 in West Allis, WI. She was the daughter of Alvin and Irene (Foley) Brandt. Carol attended Nathan Hale High School in West Allis and received an Associate's Degree from Wisconsin State Teacher's College.

Carol was an enthusiastic sports fan and athlete and met her soul mate Stanley Semenuk at a softball game. They were married August 13, 1955 and had 44 wonderful years together until Stan's death in 1999. They raised five children and were very involved with family, friends and school activities.

Carol was an avid Packer fan (Brett Favre) and all-around Wisconsin sports fanatic. Carol coached girl's softball starting as a student in high school and throughout the 70's receiving multiple awards and championships. Later in life, Carol competed in local bowling teams and garnered several awards.

Carol was a familiar face in the Hales Corners area, as she worked for the Whitnall School district for 45 years as an instructional aide. Carol will always be remembered for her kindness, warmth and genuine interest in other people no matter who they were.

Carol is survived by her sons Michael Semenuk (Liz), Jon Semenuk (Jamie), and daughters Jean, Judy and Joy Semenuk. She was the proud grandmother of granddaughter Michelle Semenuk and grandsons Garret and Gavin Semenuk. She is also survived by her loving sister Joyce Richter and brother-in-law Ronald Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Al and Dennis Brandt and sisters Diane Fischer and Alice O'Leske.

Carol did not wish for a service, instead preferring family and friends donate to their favorite charity in her memory.
