HALES CORNERS - (Nee Standish) Age 89. Born September 11, 1934. Died February 19, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, her mother Margaret, father William Standish, three sisters, Loraine, Eileen, Margie and her brother, Norman.

Carole is survived by her three children, Kim (Tom) Schaefer, Karen (Jim) Meilcarek, and Kent (Jill Szalewski); six grandchildren, Tony (Bridget), Michelle (Mario), Jaclyn (Michael), Eric (Casey), Ryan (Julie), Jenna; seven great-grandchildren and three step-children, Greg (Jan), Stephanie (Mark) and Christine (Charlie).

Carole lived most of her life in Hales Corners with the exception of 10+ years in Tucson, AZ. She loved to vacation there yearly and would visit with all of her friends that she had made out there. She also loved to entertain family and friends, having them over to cook, bake and do the hula dance for. Elvis Presley was a big part of her life, she played his music and older country music all the time. Carole visited Graceland three times. In her final years she dearly enjoyed entertaining her many friends at Forest Acres. She will be dearly missed.

A visitation will be held at Hartson Funeral Home on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 4 pm to 6 pm. Service 6 pm.
