Caroline L. Mrotek passed away peacefully on August 10, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on April 30, 1920 in Milwaukee, WI. She resided in many places over the years while traveling with the love of her life late husband Richard Mrotek (CMSGT Ret.). Upon retiring they made New Berlin, WI home where they shared many years together. Caroline known to friends as "Carrie", had a long and prosperous life spanning nearly four decades of being a military wife and raising two wonderful successful children Karen Svetz and husband Ronald Svetz of San Antonio, TX, Brian Mrotek and wife Dawn Mrotek of Nashua, NH. Carrie was a member of: Ladies Auxiliary for the Knights of Columbus Bishop Henni Assembly Council 4614, American Legion Electric Post 228 , Moose Lodge, Beta Sigma Phi Chapter #7734 and Eastern Star. She is also survived by a nephew Rev. Thomas Groth of St. Germain, WI.Her husband, Richard B. Mrotek preceded her in death. Over the past 98 years Carrie was able to travel and enjoy many aspects of life, but her biggest hobby until the end was shopping, going out to eat, along with spending time with daughter Karen. One of the highlights of the last year of her life is that she was able to connect with all of her grandchildren individually Christopher Pierce, Houston, TX, Laura Gotay, Matthew Gotay of Nashua, NH creating memories of which they will never forget and look back on to laugh and enjoy. Those special memories that each person that Carrie's life touched will never be forgot. She will be sorely missed. May she Rest In Peace.Visitation Tuesday, August 21st, 10 AM to 10:45 AM.
