Where do I start, she was born on a hot August day in 1991. I had the most perfect 6 lb. 4 oz baby girl, the youngest of my clan. She had 10 little fingers and 10 little toes. Her godmother named her. I am not very good at that.

I have a lot of memories of when they were young, but one memory that sticks out all the time was when we lived in Indiana. My Aunt Laurell tells us "Okay get ready we're going to Wally World." So, me and the kids get our swimsuits on, and grab beach towels and we all climb in the van. And she stops at Wal-Mart. I said, "what are we getting here?" and she said, "this is Wally World." The kids were all upset thinking we were going somewhere to swim.

And another story was the day that her brothers and sister taught her to ride a bike. They were all begging for new bikes, but Casandra never learned. So, I thought I would by some time I was leaving for work, and I told them, when you guys teach Sandra how to ride a bike, I will buy you guys bikes. I came home from work that day and low and behold, Sandra was riding the bike by herself. So, I went and bought bikes for all of them.

I remember her Quinceañera, her favorite colors then were red, white and gold. But once she found out that the color purple meant loyalty, it became her favorite color. She was a very loyal person, dedicated to whatever she was doing and whoever she was doing it for.

She and Ruby have been best friends as far back as I can remember. She met Perla and Becky at a church youth camp, and they soon also became inseparable. Even though Perla lived in Florida and Becky in Aurora, they still made a way to see each other as often as they could.

When she was in Remanente Fiel, her and Dana became very close, even though we were neighbors when they were younger. Dana was always going to school with a basketball, they went to Doerfler Elementary School. Over the last year or so Dana had come to see her almost every Sunday after church. She would bring her flowers often because Sandra would say don't wait till, I'm dead to bring me flowers. Bring them while I'm alive so I can enjoy them.

Her and her sister and brothers were very close. Bianca calls her "sissy poo", Cano calls her "baby sis" and Adrian called her "Big Baby.," they all had their own nicknames for each other.

She always checked up on her dad. She was always caring. Her favorite cousin Blanca used to talk to her all the time, they were also inseparable. She had a big heart and plenty of love for everyone she came across. She was a gamer for the last two years. She played on Twitch; her favorite game was Valorant.

I don't know who they are, but she always played with Lex and Dior. I would always hear her say those two names and a few others. I wish I knew who they were because she would always talk with them online and off.
She will be dearly missed by many, many people. She had a heart of gold, and the crowd here proves it. May she rest in heaven with her grandma Virginia, grandpa Gilberto, godfather Chori and her nephews, Chucho and Sebe.

She truly gained her wings. She left a legacy of love and compassion for the family. Rest in heaven Momma Duke's baby girl.

Por dónde empiezo, ella nació un caluroso día de agosto de 1991. Tuve la niña más perfecta de 6 libras y 4 onzas, la más joven de mi clan. Tenía 10 deditos de manos y 10 deditos de pies. Su madrina la nombró. No soy muy bueno en eso.

Llegué a casa del trabajo ese día y, sorprendentemente, Sandra iba sola en la bicicleta. Entonces fui y compré bicicletas para todos ellos.

Recuerdo su Quinceañera , sus colores favoritos entonces eran el rojo, el blanco y el dorado. Pero una vez que descubrió que el color violeta significaba lealtad, se convirtió en su color favorito. Era una persona muy leal, dedicada a lo que hacía y para quien lo hacía.

Ella y Ruby han sido mejores amigas desde que tengo uso de razón. Conoció a Perla y Becky en un campamento juvenil de la iglesia y pronto también se volvieron inseparables. Aunque Perla vivía en Florida y Becky en Aurora, aun así lograron verse tan a menudo como podían.

Cuando estaba en Remanente Fiel, ella y Dana se volvieron muy cercanas, a pesar de que éramos vecinas cuando eran más jóvenes. Dana siempre iba a la escuela con una pelota de baloncesto, fueron a la escuela primaria Doerfler. Durante el último año, Dana había venido a verla casi todos los domingos después de la iglesia. Mucha, mucha gente la extrañará muchísimo. Tenía un corazón de oro y la multitud aquí lo demuestra. Que descanse en el cielo con su abuela Virginia, su abuelo Gilberto, su padrino Chori y sus sobrinos Chucho y Sebe .

Ella realmente ganó sus alas. Dejó un legado de amor y compasión a la familia. Descanse en el cielo la niña de mamá Duke.
