Cathleen A. Koch (nee Brady)

Cathleen passed away peacefully on July 17, 2024 at age 93.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 60 years, George A. Koch.

She was the dear mother of Linda Iverson, Andrew (Karen), Peter (Terry) and Barbara (Kevin) Heil. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, David Iverson (Alice), Kelly Ballard (Brooks), Ryan Koch, Thomas Koch (Cara), Allyson Boehmke (James), Michael Heil (Wendy), Patrick Koch (Alaina), Katherine Ryan (Patrick), Joseph Koch, Andrea Heil and Matthew Heil. Cathleen is further survived by 13 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Born in Hubbard Woods (Winnetka, IL), to Frank and Agnes Brady, she graduated from New Trier High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she met George and married shortly after graduating with a Sociology degree. She was a proud member of Kappa Delta Sorority and stayed active throughout her life on the alumni board.

She and George were avid Badgers fans attending numerous games, home and away, with the Rose Bowl being the highlight of their travels, along with many alumni events.

Cathleen enjoyed giving back to her community as an accomplished knitting and crocheting teacher. She was a Judge at the Wisconsin State Fair and had a segment on WISN TV Dialing for Dollars. With her passion of knitting, she spent countless hours making intricate Christmas stockings for all her children and grandchildren.
