Charles "Charlie" Mundelein Hall (Age 91) passed into eternal life on December 3, 2017 surrounded by his family. Charlie was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 14, 1926 to Orville and Anna (Creighton) Hall. He was raised along with six siblings, and was particularly fond of boxing with his identical twin, Roy Hall. Charlie served in WWII and then attended Saint Joe's College, where he played quarterback and met his future wife, Jeanette Ruth Dehning, swimming at Beverly country club. He married Jeanette on December 26, 1947 and together, in the neighborhood of Beverly Hills, Illinois they had seven children and then eventually moved the family to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Charlie started his own business in Chicago and then moved to Wisconsin where he had a long career at Milwaukee Ford/New Holland Tractor. He was an active member in St. Jude Parish, where he sang in the choir, including a visit to Rome singing to the Pope! Charlie and Jeanette were longtime Wauwatosa residents (1967-2017) and maintained a vacation home in Fort Pierce, Florida, where they entertained friends, family and grandchildren. Charlie was always the life of the party, quipped with a joke, and consummate card shark. He loved rising early, fishing, playing Monday night tennis with his pals and walking to the "jetty with his 'netty". The Hall family enjoyed the ritual of a Sunday pork roast dinners with Grandpa's special salad dressing.
