Christine "Chris" Marie Lembke

Born on May 27th, 1959 to the late Rita Lufkin and survived by Fran Lufkin, was suddenly call home by the lord on Sunday, August 15th, at Froedtert Hospital.

Chris "Gramma" was lifelong companion and wife to Kurt Lembke, devoted mother and best friend to Rachel Carnitz and Charlotte (Nick) Gabrus , Step daughter Chelsea (Shaun) Hansen. Proud and appreciated grandma "mamaw" to Olivia, Joella, Roman, Wesley amd Waylon.

Dear sister of Shelby (Gary) Styne, Kathy (Bill) Herrema, Bobbi (Marty) Kintop, Rose (Bob) Scaffidi, and Mary (Steve) Mainus. Loving aunt to John Kintop, Melissa Hutchins, Michelle Styne, Paul Poznanski, Beth (Tyler) Ignazcak, Lynn (Eric) Hummer, Gretchen (Jake) Rouse, Dirk (Amanda) Herrema, and Courtney (Curtis) Schwab.

Also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.

Chris was retired from the Medical College of WI for a few years, in which she was a certified coding specialist. She enjoyed this profession for her entire career, for roughly 25 years. In her more recent years though, she truly enjoyed being outside with her grandkids. In which she spent a lot of time planting flowers throughout their almost 3-acre property she and shared with Kurt. She dedicated many trips around the yard on her golf cart in order to water each and everyone of her flowers and filling the bird feeders. Chris also enjoyed bowling in her previous years. In which she had experienced many state bowling tournaments and making memories with family and friends. Chris and Kurt loved to go camping together. In which they had a yearly campsite at the Timber Trails campground that they would travel to many summers and enjoyed the peace and quiet with their dogs.

She will be missed by all extremely and we know she has found peace and happiness with those that have gone before her.
