Obituary

Born to eternal life on May 28, 2023, at the amazing age of 99 years. Clara was born on July 3,1923 to Elizabeth (Boget) and Frank Blavet. Beloved wife of 63 wonderful years and now eternally united with Armen.

Loving mother of Galen (Janice Gail) Dockter, Cheryl Gore, Daniel (Tammy) Dockter, Dennis (Denise) Dockter. Very proud grandmother to Debra (Scott) Deboard, Donna (Darren) Wellington, Jason (Bill) Gore, Bryan (Joey) Dockter, Justin (Aubrey) Gore, Holly (Brian) Smith, Heidi (Josh) Solon, Andrew (Alexandra) Dockter, Kristin (Anthony) Staniak, Nick (Dana) Dockter, and Lauren (Alan) Waupoose.

Honored great-grandma to Courtney (John) Gross, Kira and Cameron Boehmler, Rebecca, Rachel, and Brianna Wellington, Eliana and Benjamin Solon, Autumn and Chase Kowalski, Armen and Hugo Dockter, Dennis and Callie Staniak, Carmen and Brandon Dockter, Austin, Carson and Savannah Dockter, Sawyer and Madelyn Gore, Madison and Makenna Waupoose. Also blessed with step-great-grandchildren Mark and Logan Smith.

After a rough childhood in Duluth, Clara survived the many years alone during the war and the associated hardships that it brought. Her beloved Armen returned, and they started their life anew first in Milwaukee, then Muskego, a retirement home in Wisconsin Rapids, and back to Muskego.

In the 60's, Clara worked full time at Cardinal Grocery in the deli, and later in the defense industry, as a quality control inspector for medium caliber ammunition at Amron Corp.

She even worked in security at the plant for a time. Through the years, she graciously volunteered her time in the Ladies Aide/Ladies Afternoon Fellowship, Owls, Altar Guild and helped make lunches for the Child Care Center at St. Paul's in Muskego. She loved the Red Hats as well!

During her time in Wisconsin Rapids, as a charter member, she was very active at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Our family was blessed with a precious gem. Sharp and witty to the very end, always ready with a joke and a smile, a devoted mother and grandmother whose inner glow of a life well lived shone through her eyes with an infectious joy to everyone that was lucky enough to meet her.

She will be sorely missed by family and friends.

Preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lee (1943), Armen (2005), great-grandchildren Adalyn (2014) and
Elizabeth (2023).
