Claudine Elyse (Regen) Figueroa of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away suddenly on November 27, 2025 at age 81.

Claudine was born and raised by her loving parents and extended family on the northside of Milwaukee. She attended LaFollette Grade School and Rufus King High School. She was an active child who loved ballet, ice skating and horseback riding. As a teenager with her many friends, she enjoyed cruising on Lake Shore Drive and going to the movies at the Garfield Theater. She loved cats and especially dogs throughout her life.

Claudine worked at Briggs and Stratton from 1966 to 1995 when she retired. She married her loving husband Luis in 1976.

Claudine cultivated loyal, life-long friendships with her sharp, yet gentle sense of humor and fun. An accomplished artist in middle age, she excelled at drawing, watercolors, and photography.

Claudine was a devoted daughter to her parents and a source of strength and pride to her family and friends. She loved all kinds of music, from Elvis to Lady Gaga. For many years, Claudine and her husband Luis volunteered with fellow dog owners to visit nursing homes along with their beloved dog Bella.

Claudine is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Luis A. Figueroa, her sister Lois Regen, her granddaughters, Deana Figueroa and Krista Pierce, and her great-grandsons Coda, Benny, and Amr. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Natalie Figueroa, her dear parents Kenneth and Florence Regen, and her dear brother John Regen.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th at 9:30 AM at Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Road, Wisconsin 53130. At 11:00 AM, a non-denominational memorial service will be held. Following the service, Claudine will be laid to rest at Arlington Cemetery, 4141 S. 27th Street, Greenfield, Wisconsin 53221
