Clay Joseph Hammond was called home on December 2nd, 2019 at the age 57. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Jean Hammond and his father C.W. Hammond.

Clay is survived by his wife of over 30 years Terry, his 6 siblings Jaci Sandeen (husband Mark), Mikel Hammond, Ann Hanson (husband Kevin), Tracy Juve (husband Mark), Jo Voxland (husband Barry), and Jan Olson (husband Joe); his two children Amanda Fohr and Carson Hammond (wife Sierra); and his four grandchildren Jocelyn, Cecily, Laylahni, and Nikko. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Clay worked for Ryder Transportation for over 30 years, but his real passion was music. He loved to play the guitar and listen to classic rock. Clay always had a smile on his face, kindness in his heart and a great sense of humor. He left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and was one of the nicest people you could hope to meet. He will be deeply missed.

A mass will be held Saturday December 7th 11am at St. Bernard's Catholic Church-114 S. Church Street, Watertown WI 53094. It will be followed by a celebration of life at the Holiday Inn Express 101 Aviation Way, Watertown WI 53094
