Clifford John Lardinois ("Red") was born on June 24, 1925 in Algoma, WI to Louis and Anna (Franzel) Lardinois. At the start of WWII, Cliff switched the numbers of his birth date to June 25, 1924 so that he could enter the Navy at age 17. One of the highlights of his later years was participating in the Honor Flight in 2009 with his daughter Jaime. Cliff died peacefully at home in New Berlin, WI at the age of 88 on May 14, 2014. Cliff is survived by his four loving daughters: Laura (Daniel) Betty, Suzanne (Clifford) Perkins, Linda Lardinois and Jaime Lardinois and grandsons Andrew and Justin. Cliff is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Cliff was preceded in death by his wife Gertrude (Nicolai) of 60 years and by all his siblings: Raymond, Eleanor, Richard, Loraine, Elizabeth ("Betty"), Mary Jane ("Pinky") and Marie. Cliff will be remembered for always thinking outside of the box, his incredible ability to fix anything, his love of playing Black Jack in Las Vegas, his 'Belgium Blue' shirts and his favorite response to a possible new endeavor, "Why Not?" Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 with military honors at 3:30 P.M.
