Schaning, Daniel At rest March 25, 2012, at the age of 74. Preceded in death by his brother Norman Schaning, his sisters Mary Remmel and Ruth Coerver, and nephew Donald Remmel. Survived by his sister Helen Schaning, nieces, great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins. Also survived by his boyhood friends Rudy and Ronnie, longtime barber and good friend Gunther, the NALC breakfast club retirees, and the regulars at Omega. Special thanks to all of Dan's caregivers at Horizon and Vitas hospice who appreciated his sense of humor.Service:Those who knew Dan will not be surprised that private services will be held.
