Daniel J. SolieFinally at peace on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at the age of 77 years.  Loving husband of Marjorie A. Solie (nee Meyer).  Dear father of Jacquelyn, Jeffrey (Carolyn), Joanne Webb (Gary).  Boppa Dan to Joshua (Ally Knaust), Ashley Webb (Sam Herder), Zachary (Abbie Loeper), Bryan Webb, Erik Webb.  He was preceeded in death by his parents, Selma (Kampf) and Roy Solie, siblings Edward (Eva), Royce (Jane), Thelma Nehring (Richard).  Also loved by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and adored extended family and friends.  Dan was a long-time employee of GE Medical Systems.  Member of Mount Hope Lutheran Church, West Allis for over 65 years, Dan was born, raised and lived in West Allis for most of his life.  He served in the WI National Guard, 32nd Division.  He was president of the West Allis Local Community Cable Channel, a professional photographer.  Hobbies included weaving, audio visual volunteer at church, avid lover of technology, attentive and involved grandpa.  Family was his priority.  Memorial service will be held at Mount Hope Lutheran Church, 8633 W. Becher, West Allis, WI.  Visitation Sunday, February 12th, from NOON - 2:00 PM.  Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Mount Hope Lutheran Church.
