Daniel Paul Weir Daniel was born June 23rd, 1930 as Daniel Paul Werachowski. He had one brother, Jack, who was 9 years his senior (now deceased). His parents were Victor and Pearl Werachowski (now deceased). Dan graduated from Don Bosco High School, Milwaukee. He spent 1 1/2 years in Germany with the Army Reserves during the Korean War. After the war, he met and married the love of his life, Theresa, Maas in 1954. In 1960, his last name was changed to 'Weir.' Together, Dan and Terry had 7 children: Paul (Terry) Weir, grandkids Ryan (Sara) and Justin (Jocelyn); Mark (Rhonda Vanderveen) and grandkids Mallory (Stephen Georg) and Karley; Anne (Bob) Kosky and grandkids Danielle and Lauren; Mary (Tom) Holsten; Beth (Dave) Sandmire and grandkids, Alec and Crystal; John (Amy Mullens) and grandkids Andrew and Courtney; and Tom (Wendy) Weir and grandkids Tyler and Elijah. He joined the Air National Guard and retired after 25 years of service. He spent 33 years with the Wisconsin Credit Union League. He was active with the Legislative Action Fund and the League's Governmental Affairs Department.
