On Saturday, June 3, 2023 Daryl was welcomed into the arms of the Lord at the age of 76.

Cherished husband and "partner in crime" of Judy. Adored father of Tammi (Sarah) and Chad (Shelle). Daryl really appreciated how his children loved and supported him during his six and a half year journey with cancer. Awesome Pepaw and best hugger of Gabi, Paige, and Kyle. Brother of Jackie (Jeff) Schramm and Judy Monty Daniels.

Honorary father of Tony and Jodi Monty, a very special thank you to them for all the care, love, compassion, and, yes, their wicked sense of humor throughout Daryl's journey with cancer.

Preceded in death by parents Lew and Joanne Monty, Brothers Dan, Larry, and Mark Monty, In-Laws Clarence Sutton, Leo and Lena Stocki, and Brothers-in-law Dennis and Scott Sutton. Further survived by family, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation at Faith Bible Church, 4175 S. 112th Street, Greenfield on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service 1:00 pm followed by Military Honors.

Per Daryl's request: For those who would like to participate, please wear a Hawaiian shirt in his honor.
