David E. Burt, age 75 of Greenfield, died peacefully at his home Dec. 21, 2014 of Lewy Body Dementia.  Beloved husband of Gretchen (nee Strohbusch) for 51 years.  Dear father of Craig (Carol) of West Allis and Heidi (Brian) of Brookfield; grandfather of Jamie, Nathan and Daniel.  Brother of the late Joan (her surviving husband Ken Zukoski), of Edmonds, WA, John (Frannie) of Fountain City, WI, Wendell (Cindy) of Rochester, MN, and Dennis (Marilyn) of Holmen, WI. He will be missed by his granddogs Charlie and Bear, and extended family and friends.  Dave taught Tech Ed for West Allis schools for 30 years.  He enjoyed 20 years of retirement.  Hunting, fishing, birding, gardening, skiing and traveling were some of his favorites.  He and Gretchen were winter Texans for 14 years.  The family wants to express a special thanks to Seasons Hospice, especially Jeanine and Stacy, for their compassionate care given these past months.  A thanks also to a great team of caregivers, Renee Bielinski, Dr. David Pryba, and Dr. Karen Blindauer of Froedtert.  If desired, memorials in Dave's name to the Lewy Body Association, 912 Kilburn Hill Rd., S.W., Lilburon, GA 30047 or Seasons Hospice, 6737 Washington St., West Allis, 53214.  A private service has been held.  A celebration of Dave's life will be held sometime in 2015.
