David James Early, age 70, passed away peacefully at home with his family on May 26, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and June Early of Grand Junction, CO. Loving and cherished husband of Joyce (Nee Lang) for 31 years, beloved father of Kyle and fiancee Tiffany Quartana of Muskego, sister Linda Early (Fredda and Gabriel Damast) of Berkeley, CA, further survived by other relatives and friends.David was born on April 3, 1946 in Great Yarmouth, England and came to the United States at the age of 3. The Early family lived in Wisconsin, Colorado and California. He served in the Army and Wisconsin Army National Guard - 32nd Separate Infantry Brigade (Red Arrow) and received achievement medals in recognition for his devotion to duty, high standards, initiative, sound judgment, and professional/technical competence (nuclear, biological and chemical).David was a self-employed Systems Analyst for over a decade in the aquatic and food service industries (in Wisconsin: Gardetto's, Empire Fish). His final position was with Central Garden and Pet located in Franklin, WI.He enjoyed memberships in Mensa and the local MG3 car club (British Motorcars).David was a great family man and a loving father. We as a family are proud and admire David's strength and attitude while fighting his illness. His family and friends will always remember him for his passion for science, deep interest in Civil War History, and terrific sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him, his laughter, his positive force and his caring personality.At David's request, no services will be held.
