Obituary

Ircink, David Mark 75, peacefully passed away in his Washington, Utah home on February 12, 2018. Born December 21, 1942, to Margaret Yaeger and Arthur Ircink of Hales Corners, WI. The Ircink family was prominent in Hales Corners running the Ircink tavern on Forest Home Ave. The Ircink family was also involved with the Hales Corners Fire Department as father Arthur was the Chief and David a volunteer Firefighter. David grew up with older brother John and younger sister Carol. He was a graduate of Waukesha High School. He was a AAA Champion Trap Shooter in the State of Wisconsin and joined the Marine Corps in 1961. In the Marine Corps David was able to travel the world and was decorated with a Sharpshooter Badge (M-16 Rifle). After returning home from the service, David worked as a troubleman for Wisconsin Electric, working to put up many of Milwaukee's power lines. After 35 years David retired to Washington, Utah where he built his retirement home and enjoyed golfing. David will be remembered for his hard work ethic, loyalty, dry sense of humor, his love of the ladies and his eccentricities. David leaves behind his son Arthur J. Ircink, daughter-in-law Dana Grabovac-Ircink and grandson Ilija M. Ircink and many nieces and nephews. David passed away due to complications of cancer. Donations to the MACC Fund are welcomed. Military services will be held at Hartson Funeral Home in Hales Corners on Wednesday, February 28, from 5-6 PM and reception from 6-7 PM. We will also be toasting David with Miller High Lifes at The Bosch Tavern at 7:30 PM.
