Age 67. Passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on December 25, 2018.David A. Kasten born on February 23, 1951 in Waukesha, WI. Loving husband of Reyne for 36 years. Beloved father of Faustina. Proud and adoring Umpa (grandfather) of Kaiden and Colin. Also, Grandfather to Matthew. Dear brother to Richard and Cindy, Steve and Sandy, Edward and Sue, Jane (Babe) and John. Son-in-law to Dorothy Filber. Caring Uncle to his nieces and nephews. Proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS AJAX. Worked for the department of Military Affairs for 44 years, retiring in 2017. David enjoyed his retirement by taking trips with his sister Jane, spending time with his grandchildren, and reading his favorite Science Fiction novels. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor. He is very loved and will be missed greatly by family and friends.Visitation at the funeral home on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 4 - 6 PM.
