Ryan, David L.   Of Greenfield passed away peacefully into Eternal Life on December 27, 2016, at the age of 87.  Preceded in death by his most devoted and cherished wife, Arlene.  Survived by his loving children Michael (Mathy), Terri (Gary) Voden, Bill (Rae), Mary (John) Ozburn, Patti (Erik) Thoresen, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Further survived by his brother Bill Ryan, brother-in-law Richard Brunner and cousin Mary Beck.  Also preceded in death by his sister Toni brunner, as well as many beloved in-laws from Arlene's Roanhouse family.  Dave had the gift of storytelling and the charm of the Irish.  He never met a stranger and had people happy and smiling within minutes.  He often said that if he knew he was going to live as long as he did, he would have taken better care of himself!  We lay him down to sleep with the sounds of the Irish Lullaby in our hearts (Too-ra-loo-ra...).  Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 2:30 to 4:45 PM at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 S. 27th St., Franklin, WI 53132.  Followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 5 PM.
