Dawn Marie Mattheis, 59, left her earthly home for eternal life on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Those left to mourn her passing include her husband of 13 years, Harry, her son Jacob Filocha and his children Tyler, Ava, Mason and Greyden, son Joshua Buss (Melissa) and their son Caleb. She will be missed as well by Rachel and Harrison Mattheis, her stepchildren. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Barbara, she is survived by her siblings Michael Eggers (Lisa) of Mayville, WI, Linda Klein (Kevin) of Durham, NC and Dennis Eggers (Cindy) of Jefferson, WI. Sorrowful too are her cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Dawn met Harry on February 2, 2009; they were engaged on February 2, 2010, and married on the white sandy beach of Manasota Key, FL on February 2, 2011. In the spirit of the ground hog Harry and Dawn would watch the movie 'Ground Hog Day' every anniversary to rekindle their love for one another and hope not to see their shadows in the hopes of an early spring!

For those who knew Dawn we can say her smile was as bright as the sun and her laughter could be heard for miles! She loved to ride on a Harley, go boating, sit by a bonfire, be outdoors and Snoopy!! Time spent with her children and grandchildren was precious to her.

There will be a Celebration of Dawn's life at Agape Church in Pewaukee with her final resting place at St. Mary's.

Services at 5pm on Tuesday 28th with interment at 5:30 and Life celebration dinner at 6pm
