Helenville/Milwaukee, WI- De Arya (Holland) Van Aacken, 49 of Helenville, WI died Monday, August 3, 2015. Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Jefferson, WI. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. There will be no burial. Hartson Funeral Home, Hales Corners, 414-425-9797, is assisting the family. De Arya was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. De Arya had a love of art as she frequently painted, drew, had her nails done and played the guitar in her free time when she was younger. Her love of animals started young and grew with her in to her adult life as she rode horses when she was younger but still continued to attend county fairs and the Wisconsin State Fair with her husband and kids. Finally De Arya was a supportive and gave many people inspiration and great advice to many. De Arya was surrounded by her family and friends upon her passing into her eternal life. Survived by her loving husband, Mark; and three children, two sons, Christopher Van Aacken of Helenville, WI., and Sean Van Aacken of Whitewater, WI; daughter, Serena Van Aacken of Helenville, WI.; granddaughter, Amethyst Van Aacken; her father, John Holland of Melrose, WI; her grandmother Lois Fordham of Rock Falls, Ill.; one sister Kathleen (George) Roemer; her two nieces, Kaitlyn and Jenna Roemer, and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who all loved her dearly.
