Collins, Dennis Patrick Found peace on July 27, 2013, at the age of 73 years. Loving husband of Barbara (nee Knapp), proud father of Thomas (Margaret), Cathy (Joe) Soppa, and Karen (Richard) Enk, and wonderful grandpa to Samantha, Adam, Mitchell, Benjamin, and Dylan. Loving brother and best friend of Patricia (John) Broske. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald and mother Mary (nee Ewsiechik). Retired from Allen-Bradley, and later from True Value (New Berlin), Dennis was a gifted artist and cartoonist, a life-long bowler, a loyal Brewers fan, and enjoyed woodworking and crafting, as well as occasional gambling and the weekly lottery. He was a very dear friend to many, some going back to grade school, and enjoyed 'bar club' on Tuesday nights with a close group of long-time friends. He always loved a good joke, a fun party, and had a positive outlook on life, even as his illness progressed. He will be dearly missed by his loving family, friends, neighbors, and former co-workers. The family wishes to thank all of the doctors and Vitas Ruth Hospice staff for their care and support.Cemetery:Entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.Visitation:A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, from 4 to 7PM, prayer vigil at 7PM.Service:Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 8500 W.
