Dennis died peacefully at home after a long chronic illness. He was born in Trout Creek, Michigan to Wilbert and Taimi Walls and met and married his wife Barbara before moving to Milwaukee.
He was the loving husband of Barbara June (nee Anttila) for 58 years. He is further survived by his children, Dr. Dennis Jr. (Michele), Mona, Fay Ann (Charles) Favors, Jeffrey (Roberta.) He was the very proud grandfather of Joseph (Kaitlin) Favors, Kevin Walls, Donald Bantle, Jessica Walls and Joshua Favors. He is also survived by his sister "Loie" Cowper.
He is preceded in death by sisters, Marian and Carol, brothers Earl, David, and Kenneth, nieces Darlene, Theresa and Tiffany, and nephews Wayne and Shane.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Afterwards, he worked as a Merchant Marine, and then at Pressed Steel Tank where he retired after 35 years.
He will be deeply missed.
A private service will be held on Tuesday, June 23 at 1pm.
