Dolores Jean Rabe (nee Klemm)Passed away peacefully due to heart failure on March 9, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born February 20, 1930 in Milwaukee to Harold and Doris (Fischer) Klemm. She grew up in Wauwatosa and later moved to Lannon and attended Menomonee Falls High School, where she played the drum in their marching band and was a member of the graduating class of 1948. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, taking courses in journalism. There she met her future husband, Wayne A. ("Jack") Rabe, and whom she married in August, 1950. They were married for 60 years and lived in the Wisconsin communities of Madison, Shullsburg, Watertown, Oconomowoc and Endeavor. He was a high school teacher, and she very much enjoyed being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a very creative person and enjoyed sewing, sketching, painting and writing poetry. She was also a movie buff, and was quite an expert on old movies, especially from the pre-1950s era.Dolores is survived by her children, Virginia (Paul) Lyman, Wales, WI; Joseph Rabe, South Milwaukee, WI; Jerry (Sharon) Rabe, Hales Corners, WI and John (Gina) Raven, Napa, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Klemm, her husband, and her son, Daniel Rabe. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.Visitation March 19th 9:30 a.m., service at 10:30 a.m., Hartson Funeral Home, 11111 W. Janesville Rd, Hales Corners, WI. Interment at 4:00pm, Hillcrest Cemetery, 413 N. Academy Blvd., Endeavor, WI. The family suggests that, if desired, memorial contributions be sent to the Endeavor Public Library, 400 S.
