Dibb, Donald H. "Joe" Joe's death began 77 years ago with his birth on May 16, 1931, but his Eternal Life began on April 5, 2009, at 7:30PM when he met his Lord and Savior. Beloved husband of his best friend and wife of 56 years Joan (nee Jung) Dibb. He was loving father of Phillip (Mary Clare) Dibb, Sue (Mohamed) Salim, Mary (Charles) Fieber and Mark (Cindy) Dibb. Loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by numerous relatives and friends. Joe was the owner of Dibb's Texaco Gas Station on 92nd and Burleigh from 1958-1976. He was a 37 year member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Windlake. He was a dedicated 35 year member of the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department in Muskego. He performed his military service as a proud Marine and was an active member of the Marine Corps. League Badger Detachment and a member of the American Legion Post 356. Many thanks for all the prayers from his St. Clare family, and his friends and family every where. He will be remembered by his Islamic and non-Islamic friends and the families at St. Juliana Catholic Church, in Fort Valley, GA, who loved and revered him, their many prayers were deeply appreciated. Joe's family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Froedert Hospital who treated him with such loving care. Joe did not want flowers at this funeral. Instead, he requested that memorials be directed to St. Clare Catholic Church, to fund the purchase of a memorial chalice in honor of Fr. Rohlinger who was instrumental to Joe's conversion to the Catholic faith.Visitation:A Memorial Gathering will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz St., Windlake on Mon., April 13, from 5-7PM.Service:Mass of Christian Burial at 7PM.
