Best friend and companion of Melanie Scipior. Special dad to Cindy Ray, Michael (Diane) Greenwood, Patricia (John) Desjarlais, and Thomas (Charity) Greenwood. Step-father of Tammy (Rick) Deleon and Jeremy (Jessica) Runte. Proud grandpa of Heather, Jason (Stephanie), Jonathan, Anthony (Courtney), Jamie (Sean), Miranda, Sydney, Elizabeth and Christian, Joe, Julia, and Joshua. Great-grandpa of Joey, Breanna, Alexandria, Jayden, Mason, Dominic, Konner, Karsen, Fiona, Karina, and Paxon. Further survived by other family, friends, and his beloved kitty, Annabelle.

Don loved his country, serving in the United States Army. He loved his work as a carpenter/cabinet maker, loved to humor all with his jokes, loved to take trips to Potawatomi, he loved making homemade cheesecake (from scratch), but most of all he loved his family.
