Donald Lueck passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023 surrounded by his family at the age of 94.
He was the true family man that worked multiple jobs when needed to provide for his family. In his early years he left high school to join the U.S. Navy (4 years 9 months 16 days), where he served on The USS Henderson. He always said it was the best time of his life. He was awarded three medals, served in the Korean War and was honorably discharged.
He came home to marry his beautiful bride, Barbara, and finish his education. He was a machinist at the Oak Creek Power Plant, made great friends there, he was also a milk man for Borden's and worked for the Postal Service.
During their 62 years of marriage, he helped raise their two children, Daryl and Kim. He was blessed with six grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. He loved spending time watching them play, hiding the pickle on the Christmas tree for them and just having them sit on his lap.
