Donna M Chappie (nee Mason) passed away March 9th 2026 at 88 years old, at the Grand Hills Castle assisted living facility, New Berlin, WI

Donna spent her childhood on “Little Muskego” lake and graduated in 1955 from West Milwaukee High School. She spent her adult life in West Allis, WI, and worked at The JCPenney Catalog Center, retiring from there in 2002.

Donna spent years in Alanon and had many good friends there. Donna joined PWP and the Vagabonds singles groups in the 1980’s and had a new lease on life with wonderful friends and lots of dancing. She was known for her annual Christmas party. One of the joys of her life was her private “Women’s Group” with about ten close friends that met through the singles groups.

Donna loved gardening and planting flowers. She was known for fun parties and entertaining on holidays. She loved Christmas and annually set up an entire illuminated miniature Christmas village underneath her Christmas tree. Dancing and music is what made her light up.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Dara Chappie, son-in-law Robert Stockinger, granddaughter Victoria Stockinger of Hales Corners, WI, and cousins Judith and Richard Plant of Wind Lake, WI.

Donna was married to Richard Chappie (1997) for 25 years. She was very close to her mother, Kathryn Mason (2015) and was predeceased by her father Joseph E. Mason.

Donna spent happy years of her later life with Jerome Kube Sr. (2014)

There will be a private dinner for close family and friends at a later date.
